Sodium Alginate is very safe and economical ground kelp used as a thickener for dyes during tie-dyeing or printing process. Add sparingly with the dyestuff in water as required to dissolve and thicken the liquid. The liquid restricts the dye to penetrate through and bleed in the fabric to remain at upper layers.
Add 1-2grams of sodium alginate powder with 2 -5 grams of dye powder in water as required to mix & dissolve completely.
Be flexible to change recipe as per your own project.
Use dust mask, gloves and apron while mixing with dyestuff.
Rinse to reuse empty container as tie-dye squeeze bottle.
